01.Format

The format for the day will be a Betterball Bonus Bogey competition with a scramble drive on all holes. The maximum number of clubs allowed is 5 clubs, including your putter.

02.Playing Handicap

All players will play off their official handicap. Players without an official handicap will play off their league handicap. Your playing handicap will be pre-loaded on the ScoreCapture app and must not be changed.

03.Maximum Allowed Course Handicap

The maximum allowed course handicap will be 24 for men and 28 for ladies.

04.Handicap Allowance

An 85% handicap allowance will be applied to all handicaps.

05.Nearest to the Pin

Nearest-to-the-pin markers will be placed on all short holes.

06.Longest Drive

There will be two longest-drive markers on the 18th hole, one for men and one for ladies.

07.Pace of Play

Your position in the field is directly behind the team in front of you.

08.Placing

A standard one-club-length placing is allowed on all courses we play, irrespective of the local club rule in place.

09.Bush (Lateral Hazard)

All bush is to be played as a lateral hazard (red stakes). Relief may be taken under Rule 17.1b:

• Two club length drop from the point of entry, no nearer the pin, with a one-stroke penalty.
• Play from the original spot with a one-stroke penalty.
• Back on the line, keeping the line from the pin through the point of entry as far back as required, with a one-stroke penalty.

10.Prize Giving

Each team must bring two prizes after the game. Each prize should have a minimum value of R250, giving a total contribution of R500 per team.

11.ScoreCapture App

New players who have not used the ScoreCapture app before should download it from their app store before the event. If you are unable to log in, please perform a password reset. Alternatively, complete a club scorecard and see Ben after the game to transfer your scores.
