01.ScoreCapture App
New players should download the app before the event. If you cannot log in, reset your password. Alternatively, complete a club scorecard and contact Ben after the game to transfer your scores.
02.Playing Handicap
All players will play off their official handicap. Players without an official handicap will play off their league handicap. The handicap loaded on the ScoreCapture app must not be changed.
03.Maximum Playing Handicap
The maximum playing handicap will be 24 for men and 28 for ladies.
04.Handicap Allowance
An 85% handicap allowance will be applied to all players.
05.Nearest to the Pin
Nearest-to-the-pin markers will be placed on all short holes.
06.Longest Drive
Two longest-drive markers will be placed on the third hole, one for men and one for ladies.
07.Nearest to the Pin for Two
A nearest-to-the-pin-for-two competition will take place on the 18th hole.
08.Pace of Play
Your correct position in the field is directly behind the team in front of you.
09.Placing
Standard one-club-length placing is permitted on all courses, irrespective of the local club rule.
10.Prize Giving
Each team must bring two prizes. Each prize should have a minimum value of R250, totalling R500 per team.
11.Bush and Lateral Hazards
All bush is to be played as a lateral hazard using red stakes. Relief may be taken under Rule 17.1b:
- Drop within two club lengths of the point of entry, no nearer the pin, with a one-stroke penalty.
- Play from the original spot with a one-stroke penalty.
- Take back-on-the-line relief through the point of entry with a one-stroke penalty.
12.Format
The format for the day will be a better ball Stableford competition.
