Game Info and Rules - Wild Coast Day
- FORMAT – The format for the day will be a better ball stableford competition.
- PLAYING HANDICAP – All players will play off their official handicap and players with no official handicap, will play off their league handicap. Your playing handicap will be pre-loaded on the ScoreCapture app and must not be changed.
- MAXIMUM ALLOWED PLAYING HANDICAP – The maximum allowed playing handicap on the day for men will be 24 for men and 28 for ladies.
- HANDICAP ALLOWANCE – For the day a 85% allowance will be applied to all handicaps.
- NEAREST TO THE PIN – There will be nearest to the pin markers on all shorts holes.
- LONGEST DRIVE for MEN and LADIES – There will be two longest drive markers on the 3rd hole, one for Men and one for Ladies.
- NEARST TO THE PIN FOR 2 – There will be a nearest to the pin for 2 on the 18th hole .
- PACE OF PLAY – Your position in the field is directly behind the team in front of you.
- PLACING – a standard one club length placing is allowed on all courses we play irrespective of the local club rule in place.
- BUSH – all bush is to be played as a lateral hazard (red stakes) and the following relief can be taken (rule 17.1b):
- Two club length drop from the point of entry, no nearer to the pin – one penalty stroke
OR - Play from the original spot – one stroke penalty
OR - Back on the line keeping the line from the pin through the point of entry as far back as you want – one stroke penalty
- Two club length drop from the point of entry, no nearer to the pin – one penalty stroke
- PRIZE GIVING – Each team to bring two prizes for after the game. The value of each prize should not be less than R250.00 (R500.00 per team).
- SCORECAPTURE APP – for new player that have not use the app before, please download the app from your app store. If you are unable to login you can do a password reset. Alternatively complete a club scorecard and see Ben after the game to transfer your scores.
